SESSIONS

PRE-CONFERENCE: Personal Calling – Hosted by Younique
Personal calling is the impetus for becoming a Level 5 church. While we might be able to mobilize people toward mission best in groups, it is as we help people move beyond a generic sense of calling, with their lives individually, that our groups begin to multiply. This Exponential Pre-Conference opportunity will not only help you gain clarity in your own personal calling, but will also help you imagine what it might look like to build out a Level 5 culture where every believer has the possibility to grow into the dream that God has been having about their life since before they were even born. See list of all speakers in this pre-conference here.
Day / Time: Monday 1:00pm – 5:00pm and Tuesday 8:00am – 11:30am
Location: Faith Hall - Room 346

Workshop Session 3: Life Mapping 101: How to Generate Life-Changing Insight and Breakthrough Perspective in Any Small Group or Team Context
Everyone has experienced their story. Few people have interpreted it. This workshop will introduce tools to help participants recognize and re-engage their life story in a way that not only will help them remember what God has done in their past, but also use that past to start creating their future.
Time: Wednesday, 1:00 – 2:00pm
Location: Worship Center - Room 132/134

Workshop Session 4: LifeCall: How to Articulate Your One Unique Mission in Life (and It's Not to Follow Jesus)
Most of our lives are stuck between the worlds of the general and the specific. We either spend our lives with a general sense of calling or live our life confined to the latest Personality Test or Strength Finder Assessment that we have taken. In this workshop, The Younique Team will introduce you to one tool that will help you make sense of all your assessments and give you insights on how you can live out your Personal Calling with maximum effectiveness without simply giving your life to a generic and general sense of personal calling.
Time: Wednesday, 2:30 – 3:30pm
Location: Worship Center - Room 132/134

Workshop Session 5: Leading from a Healthy Soul
The pace and pressure of ministry is relentless, and the stress leaders put on themselves to excel is taking a toll on good pastors. Add to that the challenge of marriage and family under pressure cooker conditions. Leaders focus so intensely on getting big things done well that they can miss subtle shifts that could endanger their marriage or ministry. In this workshop, David will talk about four deceptions aggressive leaders most often dismiss, and he shares candidly about hard-won learnings from his own personal failure in ministry. True solutions go beyond time management, better devotions, and accountability partners. Includes a Q & A, and is for any leader serious about cultivating healthy soul patterns for themselves and their teams that can sustain them through both the glory and gory of ministry life.
Time: Thursday, 8:45 – 9:45am
Location: Faith Hall - Room 372
