Mike is the lead and planting pastor of Mission Community Church in San Antonio, TX, a church plant that will launch on Palm Sunday. Mike is passionate about equipping people to follow Jesus and multiplying followers of Christ. Prior to planting MCC, Mike served as a pastor of youth and young adults for six years at a church and then felt God leading him and his family to pursue church planting. Mike served for a year on staff as a church planter in residence at Stone Oak Bible Church and is so grateful for the invaluable experience that he had of learning how to plant a church while working at a church plant. Mike has his MDIV from Trinity Evangelical Divinity school and has been married to his wonderful wife Ariel for seven years. They are blessed with three beautiful girls Karis, Shannon, and Teah.

Workshop Session 3: How to Become a Church Plant Who Plants Churches (Earlier Than You Think)
Is it too early for my church to plant another church? How much time, money, and people do we need to have before we are ready to start planting churches? Do we need to be completely self-sufficient before we begin to multiply? In this workshop we are going to talk about the benefits and the challenges of planting churches early in the life of your church. This workshop will be beneficial for church planters who desire to start a church planting church, as well as for church leaders who desire to begin to tackle some of the obstacles that have kept them from church planting.
Time: Wednesday, 1:00 – 2:00pm
Location: Education Building (E1) - Room 314
