Dale Spaulding is the Director of Passion for Planting (P4P). Located in Chantilly, VA, P4P was founded by church planters to help church planters stay focused on people. P4P provides tools, free downloadable resources, and Project Management to ensure the multitude of tasks required to plant a healthy church come together at the right time. P4P also offers a Church Planter Residency Cohort that teaches the nuts and bolts of how to start a new church from the ground up. Dale is the co-author of Launch Strong (A Planning Guide for Becoming a Multiplying Church).

Prior to his work at P4P, Dale was a software quality engineer and technical fellow with The Boeing Company. Prior to Boeing, Dale served in the U.S. Navy for 22 years retiring as a Lieutenant Commander. Dale holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Auburn University and an M.S. in Information Systems from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School.

Dale lives in Fairfax, VA with his wife Nancy. He has two sons and two grandchildren.

Workshop Session 4: Where to Start: Building a Launch Plan for the New Church
The Launch Plan for a church plant is a clear and concise narrative that answers a number of basic questions including: Why you are planting? Whom you are trying to reach? Where will the church be located? Who will do it with you? How much it will cost? How will it be funded? What kind of church it will be? How you will gather a core group? What are the critical success factors? This Launch Planning workshop will walk you through the Six Steps of Planning that will result in a compelling Launch Plan for the new church.
