SESSIONS

Workshop Session 1: Pipelines: A Kingdom Perspective
The local church was never meant to become the primary goal and idolatrous fascination of a disciple of Christ. Rather, by weight of Jesus' teaching, the Church is to see herself as the primary vehicle to a much larger goal – the Kingdom of God. A church plant with a Kingdom-centric perspective will have a far more transformative effect on its community than one carving its identity as relevant, edgy, or theologically corrective. If the religious landscape of our world is going to be altered, it will be done through the intentional development of leaders whose primary concern is the redemptive mission of Christ! In this session, we will recapture a Kingdom perspective critical in a pipeline for producing the next generation of movement leaders.
Time: Tuesday, 2:30 – 3:30pm
Location: Faith Hall - Room 301C

Workshop Session 3: Planting Churches That End in a Movement
"Becoming 5" is a mid-course correction from the self absorbed era of internal fascinations with church growth. This workshop is designed to help a church planter bypass addition lust and move straight into sowing the seeds of a movement.
Time: Wednesday, 1:00 – 2:00pm
Location: Henry Chapel

Workshop Session 4: Kingdom Matrix: Designing a Church for the Kingdom of God
In this breakout Jeff Christopherson will help church leaders reconcile the altruistic impulses that so many unchurched people possess with the hope of Christ that the church is uniquely positioned and commissioned to deliver. He will help you re-imagine the church's place in the grand scheme of things (the kingdom of God). This isn't just a workshop of theories, but instead time-tested applications borne out of the context of Jeff's ministry settings.
Time: Wednesday, 2:30 – 3:30pm
Location: Student Center - Room 128
