Workshop Session 1: Empower Your People into Mission: The Question of Calling and the Systems for Sending
Many churches are shifting from a posture of, "we can do it; you can help" toward one of, "you can do it; we can help." In this transition, how do we empower people to listen to the calling Jesus has for their missional lives and build structures to serve them without command and control mechanisms? Come learn from practitioners who, for over ten years, have been experimenting successfully with the interface between organic, incarnational mission and apostolic infrastructure. Hear examples from the Underground Network in Tampa of key theory and practices as well as the phases of development in generating a missional ecosystem.
Time: Tuesday, 2:30 – 3:30pm
Location: Faith Hall - Room 372
