REACHING TO MAKING - Hosted by Relational Discipleship Network

Session 1:
Evangelism vs Discipleship - We are not told to make converts, but disciples. Learn how to think about "pre-conversion discipleship" instead of "evangelism." This simple shifts leads to a different approach. It especially helps us to see that conversion is the most important step in the discipleship journey. If we focus on the whole discipleship journey, we will lead people on a more holistic conversion experience. People who come to know the gospel in this way will be better prepared for the kingdom life, here and now. Presented by the co-author of the conference theme book, DiscipleShift and a leader in the Relational Discipleship Network.

Jesus Method of Discipleship - Robert Coleman in the author of The Master Plan of Evangelism, which has sold millions of copies around the world and is considered the seminal work on Discipleship. In this workshop Robert will unpack Jesus method of discipleship which is as applicable today as when he first wrote about it 50 years ago.

Session 3:
Discipleship and Shifted: The Crossings Story - Hear the story of the Crossings, a large church committed to multi-site campuses in small towns, and how they made the shift to discipleship. Practical teaching on both church planting and transitioning an established church from Jerry Harris who is a co-founder of the Relational Discipleship Network.

Beyond Salvation - Aaron Couch co-founded Real Life Ministries with Jim Putman and then ten years later moved to Moscow, Idaho to start a new church in that secular, university town. Aaron will talk about true transformation; an engagement with post modern realities with a focus on discipleship (what it means to go beyond "just salvation")

Launching a Missional Movement by Starting a Discipling Movement - In this workshop we'll look at the principles Jesus used to disciple people in mission and give you direction on how to do this yourself. In addition, we'll give stories from the United States and around the world along with practical insight on how using the discipleship vehicle of a Huddle has unleashed a missional movement.

Nuts & Bolts for a Discipling Movement - Every movement of discipleship and mission in the last 2000 years has actually had a number of things in common. In this workshop, we'll look at the necessary components for starting a discipling movement, focusing particularly on a common language, reproducible vehicles and the rate determining step for every movement: Reproducing leaders.

Get Off Your Donkey! - In the parable of the Good Samaritan the person in need only gets help when someone gets off his donkey. This workshop is a call to action for leaders to unbundle and release the social capital of our congregations into making our communities better. God's people need to call the party of cross-domain collaboration to solve our biggest problems.

Session 3:
Emotionally Healthy Discipleship - This practical seminar will look at how to implement the unique missing elements of spiritual formation in 21st century churches around the world. Questions that will be addressed include: How do we nurture leaders who serve out of deep interior life with Jesus, a cup that overflows? How do we grow people who are emotionally mature adults who create a healthy church culture? How do equip our leaders who to have a growing, dynamic marriage and/or singleness that sustains them for ministry long-term? How do we initiate specific changes for the transformation of the wider church culture?

Session 4:
Why the Missional Movement Will Fail - There has been much talk over the last few years about missional movements. Sadly, for all of the discussion and effort, the missional movement is destined to fail if it is not accompanied with a simple but significant way of making disciples who can make disciples who look like Jesus. It simply isn't sustainable. In this workshop, we'll look at the ways in which a discipling movement is always the undergirding foundation for any missional movement of lasting force and momentum.
