Funding your Ministry - Getting it Off The Ground - You have decide to plant and you were wo excited about it until you remembered you have to raise the funds. Is there anything more daunting than raising support for a church that doesn't exist yet? We will focus on the fundamentals of success in pre-launch, perhaps the most important funding phase of church planting. Reality is there are few other factors more tied to launching well and sustaining growth than funding. Without success, the church will have a hard time getting off the ground.

The Role of Lament in Justice: Reflections on Lamentations - The call to exhibit God's justice is an important aspect of church planting and growth in the context of 21st century American Christianity. Beginning with sociological and historical analysis, we will move towards a theological engagement with the theme of lament in the Scriptures. The call to lament will frame our discussion on the role of the church as the incarnate body of Christ in the context of suffering. The seminar will move towards the important role of lament in forming a Biblically theology of justice for church planting and development.
