Bill Couchenour has a fervent desire to see Gospel saturation locally, regionally and throughout the US. He has served churches across the country for over 30 years. He was the Florida District Manager (12 years) and then the CEO/President (17 years) at Cogun, a company committed exclusively to helping churches develop the right ministry space. During that time he cofounded the Cornerstone Knowledge Network, a group committed to understanding the alignment of culture, leadership, ministry and facilities.

As Director of Deployment at Exponential, Bill primarily serves network and denominational leaders of church planting movements with the Exponential resources. He also provides strategic and operational oversight of Exponential's R&D and expanding educational opportunities. For several years he has facilitated, along with Alan Hirsch, Future Travelers, a learning community designed to create a missional paradigm shift for megachurches and denominations. And, most recently, he facilitated the Radical Multisite learning community with Jim Tomberlin and Wade Burnett.

Bill is married to Pam, and they have four adult children and three grandchildren. He received a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Youngstown State University and an MBA from The University of Tampa.

Bill has served in various capacities for his local church and other organizations including Youth for Christ, Heartland Christian School and BeTheChangeProject. Bill is the author of the books, Churches... Before You Build and Church Building Programs — Why, When & How (Rainer Publishing) and coauthor of Unleashed! Finding Epic Adventure in Everyday Life (Exponential Resource Series).
