Born in New York City, Cedric is passionate about urban and multiethnic church planting. He is the founder of Kinetic Church, a multiethnic multimodal church plant in Brooklyn, NY. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at New Brunswick Theological Seminary and the Multi-Ethnic Assessment Developer for Stadia, where he is responsible for bringing a DEI (diversity, equity and inclusiveness) lens to their church planter assessment process. Cedric previously served as an Associate Professor at Wesley Theological Seminary and the Assistant Director of Training for City to City, New York region, where he developed curriculum and diversified training content for church planters who serve multiethnic and marginalized communities. He holds an M.Div. and Ph.D. from Princeton Theological Seminary, is a published author, and has over twenty years of urban ministry experience. He enjoys playing the drums and science fiction movies.

Apart from God's favor, the leaders of a new church most determine its future. This session will provide a practical framework for discovering new church leaders who have the calling, readiness, and competency to pioneer new campuses, congregations, and churches.
