SESSIONS

Workshop Session 2: How People Change: Unintentional Formation
If the church is going to be a place where people experience deep transformation, we as leaders need a working theory of change. In this two-part session we will unpack a framework for change that has been road-tested in the local church and brings together the best of biblical theology, church history, and the social sciences.
Time: Wednesday, 8:45 – 9:45am
Location: Kids 2 - Room 220
Speakers: John Mark Comer, Brandon Shields

MAIN SESSION 3: The Narrative of the Lost Cause
The language around evangelism must change to hospitality, disciple-making, friendship, invitation, challenge, opportunity, and conversation, and something you get-to-do. In creating a culture of evangelism, sharing accounts of people who love and lead others to follow Jesus shows how it can be done and make us believe we can do it. If we are to lead in creating a culture of evangelism we must tell our own stories, tell the stories of our community, and share stories of others to inspire us to live out Jesus’ mission to “seek and save the lost.”
Day / Time: Wednesday, 10:15am
Location: Worship Center - Auditorium
