Originally from northern Mexico, Jaime and his family moved to Texas six years ago. He has been a church planter, a trainer, and a coach. Jaime enjoys thinking through and implementing pathways for mobilization and the development of missional pioneers. He currently serves as pastor of mission and mercy at Christ the King Presbyterian Church. Jaime also leads Blue Water Platform, an initiative in partnership with Forge America that seeks to pioneer small communities of faith among Latinos. Jaime is married to Natalia, and they have two children.

Today we find increasing complexities in mobilizing church movement. The past few years have presented challenges that are unprecedented in our lifetime, causing many existing churches to scramble, looking for innovation in ministry and discipleship. As well, planters are challenged in following past models of launching a new community of faith. So how do pastors and pioneers find momentum and movement within such a challenging time? What are the innovations that are taking place, the experiments finding success, that allow churches, new and old, to continue participating in the mission of God?
