MAIN SESSION 1: Empowered Heart
The movement of Jesus begins when we discover what it takes to have an Empowered Heart. While “the heart is desperately wicked” the good news is that we can “be filled by the Spirit” (Acts 13:52, Ephesians 5:18) and claim the power and presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives. The Empowered Heart:  The call of the empowered heart is to be emptied of striving and control; living life in our own power so that we can receive what only God can, and will, give. Acts 1:4 indicates that there is an empowerment we are to live and lead out of, but we must wait for it...for Him. Yes, There’s More:  To pursue the fullness we were intended for, we must first recognize our own emptiness and our need for more than we can bring in our own passion, gifting, resources. We must lean into a holy dissatisfaction and embrace the truth that “Yes, there is more.” That more comes when we “filled with the Spirit.” (Acts 13:52, Ephesians 5:18)
Day / Time: Tuesday, 12:30 – 2:00pm
Location: Worship Center - Main Auditorium

Workshop Session 1: Why Collaboration Is a Necessity (And Not a Nicety) For City-Wide Impact
Increasingly as the North American church shifts its understanding of what “impact” or “success” looks like, we hear more and more leaders focusing on “city movements.” What we are quickly finding is that the church is ill-equipped to reach cities if they can’t collaborate and work with each other. In this workshop, we’ll explore why collaboration is a necessity, common boundaries that churches find and how we can find the unity that Jesus prays for in John 17.
Time: Tuesday, 2:30pm — 3:30pm
Location: Henry Chapel
Speakers: Kevin Davis, Will Plitt, Dave Ferguson, Kurt Owens, Lani Lively
