As the visionary leader of Saturate and the Soma Family of Churches, Jeff Vanderstelt gets to spend his days doing what he loves — training disciples of Jesus to make more disciples of Jesus and equipping the Church in the gospel and missional living. Additionally, Jeff is on the leadership team of Saturate the Sound, a local church collective focused on gospel saturation in the Puget Sound. Jeff has authored Saturate, Gospel Fluency, and Making Space.

PRE-CONFERENCE: Multiplication – Hosted by Exponential
Accelerating healthy Kingdom multiplication — that's why Exponential exists. This Pre-Conference will discuss the "5 Levels of Multiplication" and explore the "3 Dimensions of Multiplication": Disciplemaking, Mobilization, and Capacity. And we'll have seasoned leaders break down each of those dimensions for practical insights from their experience. Workshop Session 1: The Heart of a Leader
Everything flows from the heart. The best leadership flows out of a healthy passionate heart that is empowered by the Holy Spirit. Sadly, far too many leaders are leading from broken and impaired hearts leading to unhealthy leadership practices. God has designed us to become aware of our needs through our emotions and then receive what we need for Spirit empowered leadership from God. During this workshop we will discover how to better understand how we can wake up to our hearts' desires and find Spirit-empowered help toward healthy, passionate leadership.

Workshop Session 4: What Did the Mars Hill Podcast Miss?
Christianity Today’s podcast, The Rise and Fall of Mars Hill was a ratings hit, garnering far and wide listenership and reaction. It was not without controversy though. Some listeners felt it went too far, some felt it didn’t go far enough. Some are asking if this form of media was appropriate at all for the church to engage in. Was it helpful or hurtful for the church? Join authors Rob Wegner and Lance Ford as they share insights from their newest work that speaks directly to these issues, alongside Jeff Vanderstelt, an early-years leader with Acts 29 who became pastor to hundreds of former Mars Hill members following its breakdown. Jeff will share his viewpoint and redemptive experiences he has eye-witnessed in the aftermath of Mars Hill Church.
